Product Overview

The GYTA53 fiber cable features 250µm fibers housed in gel-filled PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) loose tubes. These tubes are wrapped around a phosphatized steel wire central strength member, which provides crucial support. To ensure waterproofing, the loose tubes contain a waterproof compound. Additionally, some variations of the optical fiber cable include a layer of polyethylene (PE) extruded around the metal-reinforced core. The loose tubes and filler ropes twist around the central reinforcing core, creating a compact and rounded cable core. Water-blocking fillers fill any gaps within the core. Lastly, a polyethylene sheath encases the entire structure and extrudes into a plastic-coated aluminum tape (APL) longitudinally, completing the cable.
