The structure of GYXY optical cable consists of 250µm optical fibers encased in a loose tube made of high-modulus material, with a waterproof compound filling the loose tube. Waterproof materials are added to the outside of the loose tube to ensure longitudinal waterproofing of the cable, and two parallel steel wires are placed on both sides, which are then extruded with a polyethylene sheath to form the cable.
