The 550MHz Cat6 network patch cord is a premium Ethernet cable designed to maximize bandwidth and signal performance, making it an ideal choice for high-demand network environments that require consistent, high-speed data transmission. With a maximum bandwidth of 550MHz, this patch cord exceeds the basic Cat6 standard (which typically supports up to 250MHz in some cases) and is capable of handling transmission speeds of up to 10Gbps, making it suitable for bandwidth-intensive applications such as data center operations, enterprise backbone networks, video conferencing, and 4K/8K media streaming. It complies with ANSI/TIA-568.2-D and ISO/IEC 11801 Class E standards, ensuring compatibility with modern network equipment and future-proofing your network against upgrades.

Constructed with meticulous attention to detail, the 550MHz Cat6 patch cord features high-purity 24AWG or 28AWG stranded anaerobic copper conductors, which provide excellent electrical conductivity and minimal signal attenuation. The four pairs of conductors are twisted at varying lengths to minimize near-end crosstalk (NEXT), far-end crosstalk (FEXT), and alien crosstalk (AXT), which are critical factors in maintaining signal integrity at high frequencies. The conductors are insulated with high-quality PVC, and the cable is encased in a durable, flexible PVC or LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacketLSZH options are ideal for environments where fire safety is a priority, such as data centers and high-rise building, as they release minimal smoke and no toxic gases when burned.

The patch cord is equipped with gold-plated RJ45 connectors (50μm or 100μm gold plating) that ensure optimal contact and resistance to oxidation, even with frequent plug and unplug. The connectors feature a snagless design and molded strain relief boots, which protect the connector clips from damage and reduce stress on the cable, preventing internal conductor breakage. This patch cord is fully compatible with PoE, PoE+, and PoE++ devices, supporting power delivery up to 100W, making it suitable for connecting VoIP phones, security cameras, wireless access points, and other power-hungry network devices. It is also backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 cables, ensuring versatility across existing network infrastructures. Tested with Fluke network analyzers to verify performance parameters such as insertion loss, return loss, and crosstalk, the 550MHz Cat6 network patch cord delivers consistent, reliable performance for even the most demanding network applications.
