The Cat7 SFTP armored direct burial cable is a heavy-duty network cable designed for underground installation, offering exceptional protection against the unique challenges of direct burial environments, such as soil pressure, moisture, corrosion, rodent damage, and mechanical impact during installation and long-term use. Its key feature is the integrated armored layertypically made of steel or aluminumlocated between the outer sheath and the SFTP shielding. This armored layer provides robust mechanical protection, preventing the cable from being crushed by soil weight or damaged by digging equipment, while also serving as an additional barrier against rodent bites, which are a common cause of cable failure in underground installations. The outer sheath is made of weatherproof and corrosion-resistant materials, such as HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene), ensuring long-term durability in damp, acidic, or alkaline soil conditions.

Beyond its superior protective capabilities, this Cat7 SFTP armored cable maintains the high performance of the Cat7 standard, supporting 600 MHz bandwidth and 10 Gbps data transfer rates, making it suitable for high-speed underground network deployments such as residential area network expansions, industrial park connections, and outdoor campus networks. The SFTP shielding (foil shielding around twisted pairs plus an overall braided shield) effectively blocks EMI and RFI from underground electrical cables and other sources, ensuring stable and reliable data transmission. The cable is also designed to be easy to install, with a flexible structure that allows for smooth routing even in narrow trenches. Compliant with international direct burial standards, this cable eliminates the need for additional protective conduits, reducing installation costs and time while providing long-term, maintenance-free network connectivity for underground applications.
