CAT6 Outdoor Waterproof Network Cable

CAT6 outdoor waterproof network cable is a high-performance twisted-pair cable specifically designed to withstand the harsh conditions of outdoor environments, combining the superior transmission capabilities of CAT6 standard with enhanced protective features to ensure stable data transmission in extreme weather and complex outdoor settings. Unlike indoor cables, it adopts a double-layer sheath structure, usually with an outer sheath made of UV-resistant PVC or LLDPE material and an inner PVC sheath, which effectively prevents damage from sunlight, rain, snow, and humidity. The cable core consists of 4 pairs of 23AWG or 24AWG solid bare copper conductors, each insulated with HDPE material with color stripes for easy identification, and a separator is added between the pairs to reduce crosstalk and signal interference. Additionally, it is equipped with an aluminum/polyester foil shield and a 26AWG drain wire to further isolate electromagnetic radiation and external electrical noise, ensuring the integrity of data signals during long-distance transmission.

This type of cable complies with TIA/EIA-568 C.2 and IEC 60603-7-4 standards, supporting data transmission speeds of up to 10Gbps at a frequency of 250MHz, which is suitable for 10Base-T, 100Base-TX Fast Ethernet, and 1000Base-T/Gigabit Ethernet applications. It has a wide operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C, can withstand a bending radius greater than 10 times the cable diameter, and a pulling force of up to 11 kgs, making it suitable for direct burial, aerial installation, and outdoor routing in courtyards, commercial premises, and industrial sites. Its waterproof and anti-aging properties ensure a long service life, eliminating the need for additional protective conduits, thus reducing installation costs.
