The Cat8 LAN cable is the latest generation of twisted-pair Ethernet cable, engineered to support data transfer rates of up to 40 Gbps, making it perfectly suited for 25G/40G networks that demand ultra-high bandwidth and low latency. Designed to meet the IEEE 802.3bq standard for 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T transmissions, Cat8 cables operate at a frequency of up to 2000 MHzsignificantly higher than the 600 MHz limit of Cat7 cables.
